The Nursing Supervisor (Registered Nurse/RN) assists the Nurse Manager with the supervision and delivery of nursing services to patients in their place of residence or in a company infusion suite and strives to provide the highest quality of care. This role (or qualified alternate) is available at all times during operating hours and participates in all activities relevant to the professional services furnished, including nursing visits, on-call coverage, staff development and the scheduling of personnel.

The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for caring for patients, maintaining accurate and current patient records and scheduling and administering follow-up appointments to patients as required. The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional who provides direct and indirect care to clients in their home environment in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures. The nurse instructs, motivates, and assists clients in health maintenance and disease prevention to improve their ability to live independently at home. The nurse supervises, directs the efforts of the Caregiver when involved in the client’s plan of care. Based on state regulations, nurses may perform administrative and/or field/clinical responsibilities. This position is Per Diem.
