Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager is responsible for sales throughout the entire division.  The Business Development Manager’s prospecting and sales efforts create growth for OnePoint’s existing dispensing pharmacy markets, establishment of new dispensing pharmacy markets, and continued expansion as a national pharmacy benefits management (PBM) provider.  The Business Development Manager’s ability to effectively communicate OnePoint Patient Care’s services and consistently establish new partnerships is crucial to the company’s growth.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, cultivate and develop long term relationships with new hospice programs in assigned markets
  • Make and maintain sales contacts, research partner needs and develop application of products and services in an effectivemanner by researching and maintaining database of potential partners that lead to sales
  • Plan, develop and deliver sales presentations in a professional manner
  • Establish new hospice partnerships by continuously cultivating new hospice partners, managing a number of accounts invarious stages of the sales process, facilitating prospective partners along the sale process, and managing follow-upcommunication across a varied spectrum of readiness
  • Participate in sales forecasting and planning by researching, developing and maintaining long and short range marketingplans, producing reports for leadership review and creating and maintaining updated market development plans thatcontribute to product/service planning
  • Requires travel by car and/or plane

Qualifications

  • Self-driven, results-oriented person with a positive outlook and a clear focus on delivering exceptional quality
  • Motivated by the opportunity to increase earnings potential and/or advance career
  • Embodies the business acumen to position the OnePoint Patient Care service model as a strategic advantage to potentialand existing hospice programs
  • Able to successfully translate business goals into targeted sales and marketing initiatives
  • Is versatile and willing to relocate to other markets/states as needed or requested
  • Able to establish and maintain effective relationships with management, partners, fellow employees, vendors, and thegeneral public
  • Hospice nursing or hospice marketing/sales experience preferred
  • BA or BS degree preferred. Advanced degree in Management or Business valued. Must have superior oral and writtencommunication skills
