The VP will be responsible for ensuring that the Business has an effective compliance program that is designed to prevent and detect misconduct, and that the Business is acting in compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations and the company’s policies.


Supporting the Business goals while building and maintaining a strong culture of compliance throughout the Business by, among other things, implementing effective policies, procedures, and training; ensuring open and effective lines of communication at all levels of the organization; supporting investigations, conducting risk assessments and audit and monitoring activities; and driving enterprise-wide compliance initiatives.


  • Establishes effective partnerships across the business and enabling functions, such as Legal, HR, Third Party Audit, Internal Audit, IT, Sales, etc
  • Manages and directs the activities of Compliance personnel
  • Conducts periodic compliance risk-based assessments
  • Reviews the content and performance of the Compliance and Ethics Program on a continuing basis
    • Takes appropriate steps to improve its effectiveness
  • Oversees the enhancement and implementation of the compliance program for the pharmacy businesses across PMC
  • Develops risk-based compliance workplans for the Business
  • Maximizes current strengths of the compliance program, identify and remedy gaps, proactively assess and address emerging compliance risks
  • Effectively manages a team of compliance professionals and provide for their continued engagement and development
  • Participates in compliance monitoring activities, including compliance auditing in pharmacy compliance
  • Develops appropriate analytics to analyze the Business’s compliance to applicable regulations and internal policies
  • Establishes and supports effective business processes and controls to ensure the organization is satisfying its regulatory and compliance obligations including remediating any identified gaps in a timely fashion
  • Travels as needed


  • Doctor of Pharmacy preferred
  • Ten years healthcare experience
  • Extensive compliance/legal experience
  • Minimum of five years of pharmacy compliance experience
  • Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) preferred
