In this Operations Supervisor role, you will be an integral part of the Leadership team, responsible for overseeing the project’s programmatic activities and operations. This position is responsible for reviewing, recommending, reporting, and implementing programs to ensure that the project meets contractual obligations and compliance issues. You will be responsible for analyzing processes and procedures to optimize performance and productivity. In this position, you must maintain knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations and policies related to welfare and workforce programs. You will be responsible for coordinating training activities to ensure that all operations staff are properly trained to implement project activities effectively. This role is responsible for defining and setting operational goals and directing/delegating staff responsibilities to meet and/or exceed these goals.
In this role you will:
• Facilitate meetings with partners to promote full and frequent communication
• Review staff performance and recommend corrective action as needed
• Understand all technical aspects of the operation
• Participate in development and maintenance of standard operating procedures
You are a self-motivated and flexible team player with the ability to work with culturally diverse populations. You consider yourself to have strong leadership, interpersonal, human resource management, and communication skills. You have experience organizing, planning, and developing program operations at a supervisory level. You take pride in your customer service skills and program knowledge. You are able to work flexible hours and travel between operation sites and events as directed. You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in workforce service programs (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Workforce Investment Act, One-Stop Operation) and are ready to make an impact.
