Overview

The Clinical and Quality Integrations Manager will direct and oversee the integration and optimization of acquired home health agencies, focusing on operational transitions, clinical quality standards, and regulatory compliance and serve as subject matter expert on clinical operations and quality diligence, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and value realization.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct operational and clinical due diligence for prospective acquisitions, evaluating models, documentation, staffing, and care protocols.
  • Assess Quality and Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs and identify risks related to readmission rates, patient satisfaction, and star ratings.
  • Analyze Electronic Health Record (EHR) usage, workflow efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare Quality Risk Scorecards and present findings to executive deal team.
  • Develop and implement 90–120-day integration plans aligning clinical and operational practices.
  • Standardize clinical policies and documentation to meet organizational standards (LEGACY Standards of Care) and promote the organizational culture and values among acquired staff.
  • Oversee operational transitions including payroll, supply chain, and back-office functions.
  • Provide support for training and onboarding of acquired clinical leadership and staff.
  • Ensure acquired company’s compliance with clinical quality metrics and regulatory standards.
  • Identify and mitigate regulatory risks including Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs) and fraud.
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and audit processes to evaluate integration effectiveness.
  • Liaise with legal and compliance teams to resolve clinical and operational gaps discovered during acquisition.
  • Define roles and responsibilities across integration teams. Partner with Finance to translate findings into performance goals.
  • Keep leadership apprised of integration progress.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, nursing, or related field required.
  • Master's degree (MHA, MBA, MSN) preferred.
  • RN license preferred or equivalent clinical/home health executive experience.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in home health leadership roles.
  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in home health M&A with operational and clinical integration focus.
  • Proven expertise in Medicare CoPs, home health quality metrics, and documentation standards.
  • Project management and change leadership abilities
  • Negotiation skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Travel 25-75%
