As a Brain Injury - Direct Support Professional (DSP) you’ll play a crucial role in supporting and caring for our residents, helping them lead fulfilling and independent lives. You’ll provide compassionate assistance and supervision, ensuring their safety and well-being while contributing to the smooth operation of our program. This role requires you to be a positive role model, advocate, and communicator, working closely with residents, families, and our care team.

Examples of job duties include:

• Performing personal care tasks, including feeding, ambulation, and medical monitoring
• Assist with fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates
• Ensuring client safety and maintaining a safe environment
• Encouraging self-help activities
• Accompanying clients to scheduled appointments

Position requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to work in a group home, home-like setting
• Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external
• No disqualifying criminal convictions
