Overview

Private Duty CNA - Part-Time (Specialized Autism Care)

 

Overview:
Make a meaningful difference by providing one-on-one care to a patient with autism in their home. We’re seeking a compassionate and patient-focused CNA who is skilled in delivering personalized care and understands the unique needs of individuals with autism. This is a part-time role in Bolivar, TN.

 

Location: Bolivar, TN

 

Schedule:

  • Friday: 3:30pm - 8:30pm
  • Saturday: 12:00pm - 9:00pm
  • Sunday: 3:00pm - 9:00pm
    Total Weekly Hours: 20 hours

Requirements:

  • Current CNA certification in Tennessee
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Current CPR certification
  • Experience or willingness to work with individuals with autism

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assisting clients with either personal care or home management tasks
  • This would include assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding and ambulation, medical monitoring, and other basic health care related tasks
  • Home Management includes tasks that include basic housekeeping, shopping and other related housekeeping tasks

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirements is 18 years
  • Valid driver's license, with satisfactory driving record, as defined by agency policy
  • Certification, if required by state licensure as a CNA or Home Health Care Aide in the state in which the aide is to provide care
  • Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide
  • Must be able to utilize proper body mechanics while lifting and may be expected to lift up 75 lbs.; must be able to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time and bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach
