Part-Time LPN - Every Saturday & Every Other Sunday - Private Duty Care

Location: Union City, TN

 

About the Role: Adoration Health is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time position in Union City, TN. This role involves working every Saturday and every other Sunday from 7 AM to 6 PM, providing specialized care to a patient with PEG tube, trach, and colostomy needs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage PEG tube, trach, and colostomy care with expertise.
  • Monitor and document patient conditions during your shift.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and patient families.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Active LPN license in Tennessee.
  • Experience with PEG tube, trach, and colostomy care preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • CPR certification.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform selected nursing procedures within the scope of LPN practice
  • Provide patient and family teaching according to plan outlined by the RN
  • Monitor patient's vital signs and make specific measurements and observations
  • Monitor and record intake and output. Report significant changes immediately
  • Observe, assess and record patient's physical and mental condition and reports any changes
  • Administer medications as instructed and as ordered by the physician and instructed by the RN and document the patient's file accordingly
  • Attend and participate in multi-disciplinary patient case conferences, staff meetings and in-service education programs as assigned

Qualifications

  • Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN license in good standing
  • Previous private duty, home health, hospice, hospital or skilled nursing experience preferred
  • Active CPR certification
  • Familiarity with electronic health records
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
