Full-Time In-Home Private Duty LPN - Night Shifts
Location: Maryville, TN 37804 (Patient's Home)
Schedule: Sunday, Monday, and Thursday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Job Description:
Adoration Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time private duty night shift role in Maryville, TN. This position involves providing specialized care to a pediatric patient in their home environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate, personalized care to a 5-year-old patient.
- Implement seizure precautions and manage feeding needs.
- Administer medications as prescribed.
- Assist with patient transfers and provide necessary suctioning.
- Monitor oxygen levels and maintain oxygen precautions.
- Conduct skilled nursing assessments and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Provide constant supervision to ensure patient safety due to fall risk.
Requirements:
- Current LPN license.
- Experience with pediatric care, g-tube management, and seizure precautions is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Compassionate and patient-focused mindset.

Responsibilities
- Perform selected nursing procedures within the scope of LPN practice
- Provide patient and family teaching according to plan outlined by the RN
- Monitor patient's vital signs and make specific measurements and observations
- Monitor and record intake and output. Report significant changes immediately
- Observe, assess and record patient's physical and mental condition and reports any changes
- Administer medications as instructed and as ordered by the physician and instructed by the RN and document the patient's file accordingly
- Attend and participate in multi-disciplinary patient case conferences, staff meetings and in-service education programs as assigned
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN license in good standing
- Previous private duty, home health, hospice, hospital or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Active CPR certification
- Familiarity with electronic health records
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
