Overview

Looking for a forward-thinking, independent Strategic Consultant who will work directly with the CFO of BrightSpring Health Services, a public company, on its most strategic initiatives. This is a highly visible role working under the guidance of the CFO and interacting with all levels throughout the organization. Strategic Consultants on the team are high-performers and are identified as future leaders within Company's portfolio of businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
  • Guides the day-to-day operations of the Finance Office similar to a Chief of Staff, including managing the CFO’s calendar, travel and expenses but also, and as a top focus, driving core initiatives and aligning priorities
  • Attend meetings, sometimes acting as proxy, to ensure that follow up happens; focusing on making time, information and the decision processes more effective
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans
  • Improve current processes, connect work streams and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity
  • Serve as a liaison between the finance office and key partners across the organization including direct reports of the CFO, operators, executives, and senior leaders regarding updates, proposals and planning
  • Monitor and align resources appropriately to streamline efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed, escalating issues as necessary based on work plans
  • Provide updates including progress on important milestones, next steps and risks/ issues
  • Research and analyze complex issues surrounding the processes and systems of an organization
  • Evaluate data and metrics to best support overall initiatives
  • Work at multiple organizational levels, ranging from executives to the frontline operators, working across functional areas, and understanding the needs and requirements across the organization
  • Make recommendations surrounding improving processes, efficiency and practices that align with Company's goals and compliance standards
  • Ensure necessary and appropriate steps are taken to resolve difficulties which may impede progress or compromise achievement
  • Work closely with assigned teams on process improvement and proactively engage with stakeholders to identify and monitor progress and issue resolution
  • Facilitate meetings and agendas sometime to include the creation of PowerPoint presentations

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree required; Masters degree is a plus
  • Three to five years of consulting experience is a plus
  • Six Sigma, Project Management Professional, and/or Change Management certification preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem resolution skills with high attention to detail, organization, timeliness, and accuracy
  • Strong understanding of information technology platforms and information systems
  • Exercises independent judgment in carrying out the details of the work according to applicable regulations, company policies and procedures
  • Extensive knowledge of current industry trends, standards, and practices with strong business acumen
  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate (verbal and written) with all levels of personnel internal and external to the company including at an executive level
  • Capability of working responsibly with highly confidential information and of maintaining composure under duress
  • Strong personal computer skills, including spreadsheet and database usage, Excel and MS Office tools
  • Ability to utilize new tools and technologies in a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong multi-tasking ability
